It began with a house party, a graffiti wall, and a diary room where local artists and friends shared their experiences around the theme "Desire". Interested playwrights were given access to source materials and photos gathered at the house party to inspire them to write new plays focused on the theme. The plays were then shepherded through a development process including a public reading and private dramaturgical sessions. This inspired a selection of 10 short plays written by playwrights from the surrounding area, which were then fully produced on stage.
